Google ships Antigravity Agent 09-2026, deprecating the 05-2026 build with breaking tool-API changes

Google released antigravity-preview-09-2026 on Sept 17, 2026, replacing and deprecating antigravity-preview-05-2026 per the Gemini API changelog. For agents running tools locally or parsing function-call steps, the built-in tool API changed: parameters moved from snake_case to PascalCase and file edits switched from full-file rewrites to line-range replacements, with new tools (view_file, list_dir, find_by_name, grep_search) added. Agents using only the remote sandbox output are unaffected. antigravity-preview-05-2026 shuts down October 5, 2026.
