Anthropic adds server-side 'message threads' to cut agent-loop latency

Anthropic's API changelog announced message threads in beta, letting long conversations and agent loops keep conversation state server-side so each new request sends only new messages, reducing request size and time-to-first-token; a thread expires 5 minutes after its last request and is deleted within an hour.
